This is the first time that I went for a long hike during the Chinese New Year. We went during the 3rd day of CNY. This is the 6th time I hiked Gunung Tahan. We reached the Taman Negara at Merapoh at around 4pm. After checking in, we camped at the campsite. Merapoh is a very quiet town and after setting up our tent and have a bath at the river, we head to Gua Musang to have our dinner. The dinner at Gua Musang cost us RM 297.00. The food was ok but not much to shout about.
